In-Ear Sound Protection System
Silynx’s flagship in-ear headsets protect against impulse and steady-state noises while also enabling the user to hear ambient sounds via “hear-thru” technology, which allows users to maintain 360-degree sound localization and situational awareness. Compatible with most radios, smartphones, and intercom systems, Silynx headset systems are available with a broad range of accessories and can be used in any mission or setting-mounted/dismounted, maritime, airborne, or low-vis operations-and thrive in the harshest environments on earth.

Still looking for an answer?
What is Silynx?
Silynx Communications is a manufacturer of tactical communications headsets, in-ear hearing protection systems, and push-to-talk (PTT) controllers for military, law enforcement, and tactical professionals. Silynx products are in active service in over 40 countries.
What makes Silynx headsets different?
Silynx uses a proprietary “Talking from the Ear” microphone technology that captures voice from inside the ear canal - eliminating the need for boom microphones, throat microphones, and reducing wind noise. Combined with in-ear active hearing protection and Hear-Thru situational awareness, a single Silynx system replaces three legacy components.
Is Silynx compatible with my radio?
Most likely yes. Silynx control boxes connect to MBITR / PRC117 / PRC152, Motorola APX and XPR series, Kenwood TK and NX, Harris XG-75 and Jaguar, Hytera PD7, L3/Harris PRC-163, Baofeng, and dozens of vehicle and aircraft intercom systems via interchangeable cable adaptors. See the full radio compatibility list.
Are Silynx products waterproof?
Yes. Silynx headsets are rated IP68 with submersion ratings up to 10 meters, and full systems are tested to MIL-STD-810.
Are Silynx systems export-controlled?
Some are. Specific systems (such as the C4OPS) are subject to US export regulations (ITAR). International orders are reviewed for compliance.
Where is Silynx based?
Silynx Communications is headquartered in the United States, with global operations, supplying military and law enforcement customers worldwide.
Does Silynx make hearing protection for shooting and hunting?
Yes. The Silynx Clarus Pro X is a standalone in-ear active hearing protection system designed for elite shooters, hunters, and tactical operators - NRR-rated with Hear-Thru ambient sound enhancement.
